The mission team started their trip with a clinic in Carpina at the school where Rogerio has started the basketball program. It was a great week with about 50 or more kids involved. Rodrigo was at the passing station.

These are various pictures of our time in Lagoa do Carro for the church planting activities. It was a great two weeks and we made contact with lots of people and kids. We now are praying for Pastor Gustavo and Karla as they start Bible Studies and a church in this city. This was our favorite place in the city to eat Acai. The last day everyone went! The girls ran out of Acai.

Scripture Memory verse for February 1st

I love memorizing verse running in the morning with Lady. This morning I was out again at 5am because we just started school. I think I will bring my book from last year because I miss saying some of the verse.

I will continue memorizing John 3:23-26 in Portuguese. These two weeks I will work on 25 and 26. They are rich in meaning. Many times stating that salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ.

Our group went to Recife to the beach. Our plan was to spend a couple hours at the beach and go over to the park and play basketball on the outside courts and then share the gospel using one of our skits. You see those clouds in the sky well they came our way and we got rained out! Maybe another time. The kids enjoyed the water for a couple of hours

Hawaii and Ice Cream Party

Before the mission team headed out to Piaui we had a Hawaii and ice cream party. Lots of fruit and ice cream with all the toppings. Simone and Priscila have spent too much time with me. My love of having parties has rubbed off on them!! They planned and did most of the work. Then even had the games pllanned during the party. We invited some of the young people they have been interacting with during their time in Carpina. It was a blessing! We do not have the outside big area like at the camp any more but we have this big porch area which works great and lots of chairs.

We are starting verse 2 in our memory verse books. I have picked Roman 3:23-26. Verse 23 is a well known verse but I am memorizing in Portuguese and have not ever memorized the other verse.

Summer in Brazil - Basketball Clinics

Summer in Brasil is here! People are busy trying to find a great get away vacation resort trip! But not for us! For us is a great time and lots of opportunities for ministry, so we get busy working.
Matthews 28:18 "Then Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

In December, we have been pretty busy getting ready for our big mission trip in January and February. We are going deep in land in the Northeast to share the gospel. It is going to be dry and hot. Our II Atletas em Ação Mission trip will be going to the following cities:
1. Carpina PE-January 09th -14th.
2. Lagoa do Carro PE-January 16th-25th.
3. Barreiras PI -January 27th – February 2nd.
4. Monte Alegre PI- February 04th – 12th.
Our team is still working on the last details for the trip such as getting their written testimony ready, raising some more support by selling cookies, selling trip t-shirts, offering evangelistic brochures for donations and sending out support letters to friends. A big effort for a big cause!
We have 12 people signed up for the trip, and our adventure begins January 09th. We are all excited for this; we want to see how God is going to work through us.
Our strategy will be to use the sports as a platform to reach people. So we are planning to do basketball clinics, fun games and some fun skits.
Please pray for our team as we get ready to start our adventure in the Northeast.
Our team, Ro, Matheus, Priscila, Simone, Timothy, Jessica, Rodrigo, Liliane, Luizinho, Thiago, Luis Valter and Jucilene. Mention to the Lord for our travels, our ministry time with the kids as well as the church leaders, energy for our team to complete the tour in good shape and good health.

Pernanbuco, our new home state will be a city host for the World Cup in 2014. Our effort is to cast sport ministry vision to as many church leaders as we can, help them and train them. We want to start spiritual movements every where through the platform of sports Ministries. So our mission trip is with a purpose and we want to be wise with our contacts.

New Year's Eve at Church

We are at church on New Year's Eve and these are some of our neighbors coming to church with us, Junior, Patricia, Carol, Rafaela, Cauan. Priscila is with us too! We had a BBQ and the kids got to swim after the church service. We pray these kids will be encouraged to have a personal relationship with God.

We are enjoying our new game from the Lang family. We also got the new game Wits and Wages which is fun and challenging for all. The other day was we had the question: What was the total number of points by both teams in one game in the NBA including the overtimes? The answer was over 300 because there were 3 overtimes. Nobody got that right.

Psalms 119:11 "I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you."

This year Athletes in Action is starting a team of people who want to work together to memorize God's word. In 1992, when I was playing basketball in Japan, a friend encouraged me to memorize Psalms 103. Since then nothing has made a greater impact in my walk with God then memorizing scripture. God using each of them that I am memorizing to talk, teach and encourage me. As I walk or run each morning, my little memorizing book goes with me.

Last year I participated with Beth Moore's group from Living Proof ministries that memorized 24 verses during the year. God used it greatly in my life. God encouraged me to start a group through AIA here in Brazil for my Brazilian friends too.

We will use her method. This is what you do: On the 1st and the 15th of each month each person picks the verse or verses that they would like to memorize. Write the verse in a little index card book for you to carry with you. They do not have them here in Brazil so I made some (picture above). Under the blogpost for the day on the 1st and then on the 15th, each person will write their name, where they are from, verse and address of the verse in the comment section at the end of the post. This is to keep us all accountable to each other. We can encourage each other not give up.

pessoas que querem trabalhar juntos com memorização da Palavra de Deus. Em 1992 quando eu estava morando no Japão

Rome Coummity Church Christmas Box

Dear Rome Community Church,
This morning, Friday, December 30th the postman rang the door bell and we had a great surprise! The box from Rome Church. After everyone finished their work we sat down to open it.

Thank you so much to everyone who went to so much effort to make our kids feel so special!

Timothy loved his basketball shorts and t- shirt that Pastor Mike picked out for him. He was so happy to get that $R7 Reais. He might have already spent it.

Jessica received a beautiful necklace and earrings from Ruth Rhodefer. Jessica has a story to tell about her present. When we were on furlough two years ago in the US. Jessica saw this necklace at JC Pennys. She really loved it and wanted to buy it. We never did get that necklace. When she opened Ruth’s gift, she was in awe because it was that very necklace. God is consider with the smallest detail in our lives!!

Stephanie received the CD of the singer Nicole Mullen that she loves! Thank you Hank and Alice Butenschoen

Tiago received lots of treats to eat, a neat new t-shirt, Legos, and the best- two roaches with a maze that he just loves!! We were at a store here in Recife this week and they had those roaches. He called me over several times to see them. He loves that kind of stuff. When we opened his gift, he too could not believe it was those roaches that he had been wanting!

Rebeca received some amazing things too. We were all amazed at the beautiful Barbie clothes that were in the box. Someone must make those and the two Barbie. Even the older girls were excited to play Barbie with her! Two perfect shirts that fit just right, and She got a tea set that she loved. She sat all day at her table serving everyone some food. She was the mom making food for everyone.

We did not find names of the families responsible for Tiago’s and Rebeca presents but we would like to thank all of you. Yes, I LOVED my chocolate bar and Yes I did share with everyone. I did not grow up a missionary kid but my kids are. It is a different life somethings are good and somethings are hard. For all of us being away at Christmas from family is challenging but the box that the church puts together each year for our kids is such a blessing to our family and makes each of the kids feel special and loved in a faraway place. I am reading Max Lucado’s book “Outlive Your Life” He tell many stories of how God can use willing people to change the world. Thank you letting God use you and your resource to make a difference in the world.

Inspired by the Maxwll Family, we made cookies and cards to take to a few of our neighbors. They Christmas carol and then leave a treat but we did not do that. We wrote a message encouraging them to make Jesus their Savior. We then took them yesterday to 10 of our neighbors.

Making Sugar Cookies

We had a fun afternoon making our sugar cookies. We waited for Priscila to come to do all of our Christmas stuff. I made four batches actually 6 but saved some for later. Lindsay and Baby Melody came over. Rebeca loves to play with Melody and keeps her happy.

This is Lindsay, she and her husband Jeff our missionaries here with us.Priscila is here with us and we are so excited. She arried on Tuesday and will be with us for more than a month. Where is Tiago? I asked him too why he did not participate with us?

What happened to the cookies and where is the picture of the finished products??? They cookies turned out beautiful but we forgot to take a picture of them. We took them to the dinner last night for the ministry. Everyone enjoyed them because they are something very different here. Brasilian do not make them.

In Brazil most women have their nails done every week. It is R$15 for nails and toes. It is quite a treat when time permits me to go. Saturday the three of us girls went. Aunt Debbie gave Jessica a birthday present of money and this what she chose. It was fun designed nails in the style. Thank you Aunt Debbie

I read this blog post about wives and moms and working outside the house. I thought it was a great encouargement to all mom especially young moms beginnning their family deciding whether to work of stay home. After 14 years staying home with my kids, now I am teaching in the morning or 5 hours. Yes, Everyone is in school Rebeca too, but it is a hard adjustment to make. I am so thankful for the encouragement I had all those years to stay home and invest in my house and family. The investment was worth millions.

Cultural Cliches:
I was recently telling my husband how surprised I have been to realize how many young Christian college women are feeling at sea when it comes to understanding what it is they are doing. What is an education for? We used to view an education as preparation for life. Now it is viewed as preparation for a career.
My husband pointed out that there are no cultural cliches to reinforce the calling of the wife and mother at home. All the cultural cliches today are the savvy, sexy career woman, married or not. And it doesn’t much matter how many sermons women hear if they don’t have any cultural reinforcement. They need to see the value and potency of the calling of wife and mother, and they are not going to find this in films, sit-coms, or magazines. Women have been successfully driven out of their homes in our culture, creating a vast vacuum in the soul of our country.
Whenever we address the importance of women raising their children and building their homes, we have to qualify it left and right. If we don’t, we will soon be barraged by “are you saying that women can never work outside the home” questions, and then we have to assure everyone that we know there are exceptions. But the cultural norm should be women who delight in their calling in building homes and families. No one else can do it. God says.
Our young women must be encouraged to view the biblical calling of women as a high calling indeed. And because so many women have abandoned their posts, Christian women can feel like total weirdos, having to explain themselves to strangers at the coffee shop or the grocery store on a daily basis. “Yes, these are ALL my children. And I love it!”
If young women get themselves a lucrative career, and then they marry a man who also has a lucrative career, it takes a woman of faith to drop her career outside the home in order to pursue a career of domesticity and motherhood inside the home. Most people will think she’s nuts because of one reason: money. What is she thinking? She could be making money! Why would she give up the paycheck to stay home? What a waste!
God does everything the opposite way of what we think. At the end of the day, it’s not prestige and a paycheck that rise up to call you blessed. Those things burn up. The things that last, the eternal things, have fat faces and messy hands.
Christian women must be counter-cultural and think like women of faith who take the Bible seriously and don’t mind who knows it. The flesh is weak, but God gives more faith. Cultural cliches come and go, but God’s Word remains our standard and authority for life.
This means that Christian women must accept the fact that God has designed them for a set purpose. Eve was created because Adam needed a helper. He was no good without her. A man needs a woman to accomplish all God is calling him to do. She is his glory. She is his crown. There’s no need to feel apologetic about being a crown and a glory. What an absurd idea!
So, young women, get yourself an education. Learn all you can because you’re going to need it. You want to be one efficient, brilliant helper so this guy you married can get it done. He needs a home and he needs a family and you are the means God has appointed to bring this amazing thing about. What a delight and privilege our calling is.
Are there exceptions? Always. But there is also a norm. Don’t be afraid of embracing the norm of God’s design. It is good.

English Church

This is a Sunday morning during our English church service at the International school. Ususally the service is full but there was a big test going on for high school students. Rogerio was sharing his testimony in English and then someone translated for him. The people that go to the service are learning English or already speak English and want to practice. I alway love hearing how God chose my husband and brought him to himself!

This is my English class afterwards. I ususally have about 17 students but they were all gone today taking the test.

I thought I would take this picture from the window in front of our house. We live in the center of the city. It is an interesting neighborhood. Because there are no rules about building here. There are some nice houses around us but then right in front is a little (favela) a bunch of houses together. There are always a bunch of people outside and lots of kids playing in the front of our house. We say hi and interact with them and are praying for a chance to share with them about Jesus. But we also have to be careful because we do not really know what kind of people they are and we can not really let the kids play on the streets because of the language etc! Rogeerio alway invites the kids to come play basketball with him at the school. The older ones in front of our house seem to be interested in volleyball. When you get tired of all the building rules and regulations in the US remember this picture and be thankful for rules. Without rules look at what you get!

Porto de Galinhas

This is Porto de Galinhas south of Recife. It is a big tourist spot for all of Brazil. We are about a two hour drive away. It is very pretty. We went a coupld of weeks ago. We are spending some of our Saturday's getting to know the area around us. As time goes on we know that we will not be as free on Saturdays so we are using this time now. Soon Rogerio would like to have some basketball activities on Saturdays.

Yes, I am the only person at the beach with tennis shoes on and not wearing a bikini. This area of the beach has rock formations that form pools of water and they can take you out in boats to see the pools and different fish. We did not go this time. We were just looking around.

Recife beach here is a beautiful beach but they have had so many shark attacks that they tell people not even to wade passed their knees. Boards of any kind act as bait beacuse the sharks think they are turtles! We were here just to enjoy the view for a few hours after going to the store for groceries on Saturday.

Engery Program at Our School

All the school was involved in the program presenting about different subjects. It was a lot like a science fair but involved all ages. Everything was so interesting and presented in a very good way. These are some of the fourth grade boys.

Timothy's group did a interesting presentation about engery and saving energy. Each of the students spoke during a power point presentation.

Rebeca was a stem of a flower. She had a nice green outfit on.

Stephanie's class did a presentation about the newspaper. Each of them talked about a part.

Our English department did not have a part in the program so I was taking pictures and enjoying the program.

Yesterday, September 26th was the beginning of practices is the public school next to our house here in Carpiona! Rogerio had girls and boys. from 3 to 5pm. He was so excited to get started. Now they just need to make the basketball hoops for the court. Thankfully a group of Americana left lots of basketballs. We are excited for the new kids that we will get to meet and begin sharing with then about Jesus. Will there be a Simone or Priscila ?? Who now run the ministry in Nova Odessa. Or some of the other girls in that first group who we love like daughters. We were remembering the first group of boys. Some of the older boys that we worked with heard about Jesus but decided to go their own ways never following God. Praise God some of them who were Timothy's age that we worked with for more then seven years really have taken the message seriously. They are seeking God!! God has giving Rogerio a special love for all kids rich and poor and a gift to work with them and encourage them to follow Jesus. I am alway thankful to be helping him although he does most of the work.

Carpina House

This is our second story house in Carpina. We have to open 5 locks to get into our house. The bottom has a door to open and then up the stairs to this gate with two locks. Like we always say in Brazil the criminals run the streets and the people are behind the bars! This is the next door to open.

Broken Washing Machine

The story of the washing machine is long. It was actually my fault that it is broken. I plugged it in wrong because the watts are different here. We have been plugging it into a transformer. For some reason I was not thinking very clearly and I plugged it in the wrong way. When I remembered and unplugged it I thought that it was ruined and we would have to buy a new one! I prayed, oh no!! God was merciful to me in my foolishness. We only need to replace a part which is R$250. Now we are waiting or the part. It has been one week so the next picture is my washing area. Washing clothes by hand for 7 people is challenging but I am learning a good lesson and I am thankful for my washing machine!! All the kids are helping wash a few things!! There is nothing pretty about this part of our house. It is the only part we have outside. This is where Lady is suppose to be. The wall is then the next house. Thankfully I do have a dryer but hanging the clothes a little bit because they are too wet to put in the dryer right away. It is hot here but muggy so the clothes are hard to dry. I am thankful for the dryer. 99% of the people here do not have dryer. I have never seen one here to buy.

About two weeks ago Tiago plugged in the microwave wrong so it did burn out. Thankfully we did not get too mad at him. Then I did it!

Shoes From Washington

Friends from Washington sent more shoes that had been donated for the kids here in Brazil. This time we will be able to pass them out to the kids in the Northeast of Brazil. This will be a huge blessing for many kids. The people up North here are poorer then the people in the South. Rome Community church was able tp bring them down when they came on their mission trip.

These are the cleats we separate for the soccer program run by one of the pastors from the school.

The group was able to bring wooden trucks and toys too. Rebeca was enjoying playing with them.

Mana works in the kitchen at the school and she cooked for our group. She was the first to get to pick a pair of shoes for walking.Here we are sorting out the shoes!

Rome Coummity Church

Rome Coummity Church Mission Team should be arriving at the airport as I write. Although going through customs and getting the baggage then takes a little more time. Rogerio left this morning to pick them up. He took our van so no room for all of us to go. There are 10 people coming all from my HOMETOWN. It is amazing that one year ago they started to plan their trip here and now they are arriving. We believe God has a special plan for them here. We have just arrive here too in Carpina so we are believe God as He takes us to the places he wants us to go. They will be doing basketball clinics to help Rogerio start up his basketball program. Just this morning the man at the bakery said that he had a daughter 12 about his height that would like to play basketball!! He said that there are many tall kids in Carpina. I have yet to see them. I forsure am the tallest and just the other day a group of girls called me a telephone pole. That was a first and we all had a good laugh!! We even found a court outside that a bunch of guys are playing basketball. I will be writing up dates as the week goes on!

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for praying for our trip. We are here in Carpina in the Northeast part of Brazil! We traveled for five days by car. It was a long but good trip. We got to see so much or Brazil. The highlight was one day at the beach in a town called Aracaju. Even Lady our dog did fine in her cage the whole time.

Carpina is in Brazil but it feels like a different country to us. The accent is so different, the customes, the food so we are adjusting. Up here there are no blond tall people so I stick out like a sore thumb. Even Rogerio and the kids have a different look.

Our new house is right in the center the city. We can walk everywhere. Our house is like an upstair apartment but big with four bedrooms and four baths. Our dog now is an indoor dog and gets to go out on a lease with me to run on the sidewalk. Different is not bad or good it is just different.

Our kids are all in school. Rebeca will go in the morning too because I will be teaching all morning. I will have 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, 7th- 9th, and 5 year old English classes. I have some planning to do. It is an International School so the kids are all learning English in various classes during the day with Portuguese subjects too. They are at school from 7:30 to 4 so it is a long day for them. Tiago was excited today because he was going to try Karate.

Rome Community Church from Bellingham WA will be arriving on Friday August 5. They will be with us for a week. They will be going to the schools with Rogerio to start up his basketball programs.

We are believing that God sent us here even though it may not always be easy. Ephesian 1:19 says” and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might”

Lots of boxes around our house these days. With God's help and direction we plan to leave next week to drive up to Recife. Therefore we have lots of work to do. While all of us are working this is where we found Rebeca! The office and the schoolroom are looking pretty bare. I think we have more books then anything else. We had a good clinic is our city of Nova Odessa with the girls and boys team of the city. The coach is a Christian so was so thankful that we were able to come and encourage his team to have a relationshhip with Jesus. Terri the director is introducing the team in this picture.

This was our first day with the volleyball team in Atibaia. The girls did a clinice for about 90 kids and then played a scrimmage game. Here is Priscila helping teach passing. I bet she is learning too. Bira gat to share with the men's team that the girls played. It was a great time and the men were really giving their attention. They all prayed to recieve Christ into their life.

This young blond girl named Rebeca beame a Christian after here the gospel. I helped the Directora of the tour lead her to Christ! she was introduced to the pastor and his wife o the church we were working with so she can starrt growing in her faith.

Our day in Sao Paulo was really fun. As the day ended we took everyone to Pizza Hut which is a treat here because it is more expensive the Brazilian pizza. The bears are a fun thing at Pizza Hut. There werer about five sitting around and Rebeca had a whole family of them at our table. We had pepperoni pizza which the three older girls Simone, Priscila and Tais had never had. With 8 kids that night we had three large pizzas and not one piece leftover. Rogerio and I feel the same way about money though and we would much rather use on money on kids then on a bunch of other stuff!!

Here is Sao Pualo on the busy busy shopping streets. How we love being tall so we can see everything over the crowd. Rogerio had to find a few items so that is way we are on this street shopping. Everyone knows how much I hate shopping and I went just for the fellowship.

Once a month Rogeiro is able to take the younger boys and girls teams to play in Sao Paulo. They each get to play about three games so it is a great time. Some of the teams are better some of them worse. It is a great chance to spend time with the younger kids. They get much more motivated to practice if they can look forward to playing games.

7 kilometer Run in Nova Odessa

Last Saturday we participated in a 7 kil run in Nova Odessa. Atletas em Acao ran and helped with the organization. It was a good afternoon. We were able to pass out tracts to all the runners. This is Rogerio Salviana and his dad and mom. His dad is a great runner too and beat me!

This is the time of the year that they cut all the sugar canee. Now it is done mostly with machines as they are not allowed to burn it anymore. WE were passing by after church and took pictures. The van was completely full. We love our 17 passangers van. We are thankful that God has allowed us to use it so much with all the kids and teams. Today I wa in the bak with Rebeca you can see my blond hair. She is always asking me to sit back with her. Most of the time I stay in the front but sometimes I go.

This was lunch after church. We had Mateus's family from church over. All had a great time. We had faitias and Mateus's mom brought us their favorite family dessert. It was delicious.

Last Saturday we had a campout here at our house. 15 kids total slept over. There were four tents and a couple kids slept inside, Rebeca and Jessica. All had a great time and were ready to do it again the next weekend. The only major problem is having one bathroom but we all survived and were even ready for church at 8:30 in the morning on Sunday. We love the fellowship and time with all the kids.

Stephanie loves horses and she loves riding horses. There is a rent a horse place just down the rode from our house. It is jus about $10 for the hour to ride a horse so good entertainment. We took the girls a week ago to ride a little bit Rogerio is helping he is the horse expert:)

Christy ad Rosie are two Americans that came to play basketball on a team in Santa Barbara with our friend Cleo. They stayed the night with us and spent Sunday with us last weekend. Christy was excited to ride horses, but her horse laid down with her on it so she got off fast and did not get back on!

Rebeca turned 3 last week. These are her friends that are living at the camp right now. Elise, Vitoria, Ana. They have have lost of fun together.

Easter with Friends

These are our dear friend Cleo and Bete. We had Easter lunch with them at their house that they are building. we had a delicious lunch. Their older son Mateus had to leave to go back to college. Natalia their dughter is tall like Jessica and Stephanie. She is a year older then Timothy. She grew up here at the camp so all the kids played together and were like sister and brothers. Cleo and Rogerio have been friends for over 20 years!

Mom do you notice the birthday shirts that you sent for Stephanie's birthday. Jessica is wearing one they are so cute.

Glow in the dark Easter Eggs

For many years we had colored Easter Eggs. Even here in Brazil my mom has sent us an egg coloring kit. This year we did not have one but when our friend Sophia Shang sent us a box with fabric paint in it that glows in the dark I had the idea to make the egs different this year. We painted the eggs with the glow in the dark paint and hide them at night for the kids to find. It was fun and a little more challenging. Everyone painted a bag and at least one egg. Jessica who loes craft stuff painted more. A egg to us means new life and we are so thankful that God gave up His life for us to have new life in Him. He has risen.

Stephanie turned 11 on April 17th. We are so thankful for her life. She is a talented little girl with an outgoing and fun personality. We pray that God uses her greatly. Here everyone is looking for where the treasure is hidden.

The kids loved all the candy!

The funny thing about this party is that it just about did not haeppen because we did not have any water that day or the day before. In the afternoon we finally had water for two hours and we were able to make the cake then it turned off. We all went to the basketball program and then everyone came to our house. I warned everyone that there was no water. It was oksy but you will notice that none of us are too fancy, no water no shower.

Trip to Recife

I was able to spend four days in a city caled Carpina. It is 45 minutes from the big city Recife. I was visiting all a ministry starting churches there. They use wmny different avenues for sharing the gospel and then starting a church. One area is a school. This is the entrance of the International school that teaches Portuguese and English. It started five years ago and this is the building, a hotel, they were able to purchase which they use as a seminary at night. These are the kids at the school. Here they are having lunch. These kids are about Tiago's age.

These are the classrooms the number of the classes is small.

This a Glory Sports that is a program running on Saturday morning for boys to come play soccer. You can see lots of boys and they hae the older boys in the afternoon..

This is an English class at one of the churches starting up. this is in the afternoon on Saturdays. Then many of the kids come to church on Sunday's.

This is Jeff and Lindsay who are missionaries living in Brazil. I got to stay with them for the weekend in the soon to be baby's room. They are anxiously waiting the arrival of Melody in May. They are a wonderful couple serving God in Brazil. I am thankful to God of the opportunity to met them and thankul that they opened their house up to me! This is Emily and Brittany. They are serving as missionaries in Brazil teaching English at the school and in the churches that are starting up. They do a wonderful job!

This is Silvio. I thought I would highlight some of the kids involved in the program. Silvio is Timothy's age andd has been playing basketball with Timothy for 7 years. They are best of Friends. Silvio has been going to church with us on Sunday's and God is working in his life. He is a great boy love him like a son. He is energetic and loves basketball. I think he is thinking about Texas here:) I pray that Silvio will grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18)
